The Global Database of Events, Language, and Tone (GDELT) monitors the world's broadcast, print, and web news from nearly every corner of every country in over 100 languages and identifies the people, locations, organizations, counts, themes, sources, emotions, quotes, images and events driving our global society every second of every day. GDELT 2.0 updates every 15 minutes with new features including realtime translation of 65 languages and measurement of over 2,300 emotions and themes.
