GeoNames API (Geo Data)

GeoNames is a geographical database available and accessible through various web services, containing over 25 million geographical names and consists of over 12 million unique features with 3 million alternate names. The GeoNames database covers all countries and contains information about populated places, administrative divisions, mountains, lakes, seas, rivers, and other geographical features.
