Return concept information for specified status values. The returned name and TTY reflect the concept as represented in the current RxNorm. For Remapped-status concepts, the name and TTY come from the atom archive if there is no current source. A TTY is provided only if the name is from the atom archive.
RxNav (RxNorm Drug Names API)

Get the string, term type, source, and source's identifier for a specified atom or for atoms in a specified concept. Returns JSON.
Get the string, term type, source, and source's identifier for a specified atom or for atoms in a specified concept. Returns XML.
Get the drug products associated with a specified name. The name can be an ingredient, brand name, clinical dose form, branded dose form, clinical drug component, or branded drug component. Results in JSON format.

Get concept identifier types that may be used with findRxcuiById.
Get National Drug Code (NDC) properties. This function returns NDC properties for an NDC, or for NDCs with a given two-segment prefix, or for the NDC related to a structured product label, or for the NDCs currently related to a concept by RxNorm. By default, only active NDCs' properties are returned. This restriction can be adjusted with the ndcstatus parameter. When more than one NDC/RxCUI combination satisfies the query, a block of properties is reported for each NDC/RxCUI combination. NDC properties come from two sources: DailyMed (SAB=MTHSPL) in RXNSAT, except for the packaging information, which is provided by DailyMed external to the RxNorm data set. The FDA NDC Directory and legacy NDC records from the FDA. The source element in the result indicates where the properties came from. Possible values are: FDA, MTHSPL, Hybrid (combination of FDA and MTHSPL), and RXNORM (no properties). The following forms of ID are accepted: NDC 2 segment, NDC 3 segment, NDC11, RxCUI, SPL_SET_ID.
The resource is a list of National Drug Codes (NDCs) that have appeared in RxNav's data sources. The list is optionally filtered by the status parameter. Status can be ACTIVE, OBSOLETE, ALIEN, UNKNOWN.

Returns concepts of the term types specified by the tty parameter. Scope: Active concepts in the current RxNorm data set that have an atom with SAB=RXNORM and SUPPRESS=N
Get RxNorm concepts related by RxNav's default paths to the concept identified by rxcui. The results include the concept identified by rxcui as well as related concepts.
Searches for strings in the data set that most closely match the term parameter. This function is useful for strings where an exact or normalized string match does not find the desired results. Results can optionally be limited to Active concepts with the option parameter. Results include the RxAUI, RxCUI, and, where permissible, the name of the closest atoms. Results are returned in JSON format.

Searches for strings in the RxNorm prescribable dataset that most closely match the provided term. Useful when exact or normalized string matching fails due to misspellings, abbreviations, or extra words.
